Not good with you’re grammar, eh?
Not putting the sentences together to make cents?
Their are rules and exceptions but there difficult to remember write?
Let’s face it… If you are writing like that, you are writing like a 12-year-old. However, honestly, if another 12-year-old read this, their reading skills would drop to a 9-year-old level. However, maybe English is not the first language…
Many of you would have already acknowledged the horrible spelling and bad grammar used in the first few sentences. Surprisingly, I see this often and reading it can be very annoying. Right?
I never want this to be my writing, so… I have always made sure to have some technique for checking my grammar… P.S… I like Free.
What Is The Best Online Grammar Checker?
The OLD Way
Before recently, I would copy my blog post over to Microsoft word when proofreading my material (Or sometimes even start my blog in Microsoft Word.)
This would help me locate a few grammar errors to fix.
When finished I would paste it back into WordPress to submit my blog. But…
Even by doing this I was still spending too much time thinking about how to fix errors. I also found it annoying switching between 2 platforms that sometimes would not keep the same formatting, lines, spacing, etc.office,…
The New Way
Lately, I’ve been trying out a handy online grammar checker. Honestly, I can say it has been a huge time saver and super helpful in the blogging life.
You most likely have already been hearing the adverts on YouTube but clicking “skip ad” and moving on with your videos. (The one about sending important emails)
I’ll admit it… I clicked skip many times too, but finally. It happened. I listened. I tried it.
OMG, Everyone! Grammarly Is A Bloggers Dream!
I feel like slapping myself. It’s Really Really Helpful! I should have used it sooner.
There are three ways to use Grammarly.
- Browser App
- Windows App
- Microsoft Office
The browser app is what I use most because the majority of my writing is inside my browser through WordPress. Simply double-clicking any word will give me alternative synonyms and I never miss a punctuation.
Free is fantastic, but some of the premium features are wild. Giving you improved sentence structure and many new alternative ways of saying what you need to say. There is even a plagiarism checker that’ll search & find similar content online.
My productivity has increased tenfold
- My writing is more consistent than ever before.
- Proofreading is more enjoyable. (Never nonsense errors)
- My articles look smarter because of word recommendations.
- It is discreet.
- Bold red lines appear under words/phrases to change.
- Lightweight. Meaning, it is easy on your computer.
Unless you show me something better, I see Grammarly as the best grammar checker available online.
